Why are you waiting?
Forward thinking veterinary practices realise that the integration of physiotherapy and massage techniques with conventional pharmaceutical and neutraceutical management options can only lead the way to better joint care and a better quality of life for the animals they care for. In addition the veterinary physiotherapy and canine massage CPD course will also help fulfill the on-going training needs of a practices veterinary nursing staff and provide a unique opportunity for practices to develop the physiotherapy and massage skills into tangible services, aiding in the development of practice business.
The 2-day CPD course will take place over two non-consecutive days. Day 1 (stage I) and day 2 (stage II). Stage I will focus on managing chronic degenerative joint conditions and will focus on techniques (passive movements, massage and stretches) to improve mobility in osteoarthritic joints and enhance quality of life in senior animals. Stage II will focus on the acute patient and post operative physiotherapy techniques. This approach provides an opportunity for delegates to go back to their respective practices after stage I and begin to use the techniques that they have learnt in their “well being” and “joint health management” clinics before returning to learn some more advanced skills suitable for post operative patients.
The course is free to practices committing to use Flexadin*, alternatively places on the course can be purchased. Please contact Vetoquinol or your practices Vetoquinol representative for further details.
