Frequently Asked Questions

How much Flexadin Advanced should I give to my dog daily?

Flexadin Advanced has a unique administration rate and regardless of the weight of your dog he/she will require only 1 chew a day. No initial loading phase is required when your dog starts Flexadin Advanced, which means you don’t need to double the number of chews for the first 4-6 weeks.

What is the difference between Flexadin Advanced and other joint supplements?

The main difference is that Flexadin Advanced contains UC-II® (undenatured type II collagen), which is a novel ingredient for the support of stiff joints in dogs and has a unique mode of action. The majority of other joint support products contain glucosamine and chondroitin, which are traditional ingredients for the support of joints in dogs and cats.

Which is better at supporting joints, UC-II® or glucosamine and chondroitin?

As with many ingredients that have been on the market for a long time, there are many advocates of glucosamine and chondroitin; however, although UC-II® is relatively new, it has become more and more popular due to the positive results of scientific studies in dogs, horses and humans.

What pack sizes are available?

Flexadin Advanced is available in two pack sizes of 30 and 60 chews. All chews are stored in handy foil zip-locked packs, so that they remain fresh for longer.

Where can I buy Flexadin Advanced from?

Flexadin products are available from your local vet practice or online from participating retailers.

Can you give Flexadin Advanced with other joint supplements?

Many of the traditional joint supplements contain glucosamine and chondroitin. These ingredients are well-tolerated in combination with the UC-II® in Flexadin Advanced.

I give my dog a joint support food; can I give them Flexadin Advanced as well?

These diets customarily contain ingredients such as omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and glucosamine and chondroitin.  We understand that glucosamine and chondroitin are well-tolerated in combination with the UC-II® in Flexadin Advanced.

How long does it take Flexadin Advanced to work?

We would expect a change in your dog’s presentation within a couple of weeks to a couple of months of starting Flexadin Advanced.

Flexadin Advanced is a dietetic complementary feeding stuff for dogs.
